So I realize it’s been a while since I’ve posted an update, and that’s pretty much because of how busy I’ve been in getting things ready for this season.  Now, of course, this last “little” storm certainly hasn’t helped with being able to get the fields ready.

The total snowfall here was somewhere over 25″ and most of it is still on the ground.  Despite that, the planting schedule is all set, the new equipment is either here or on the way, and some plants are already started.

I had still been trying to figure out about getting chickens for this season, but still can’t seem to get them figured into either the schedule, or the budget.  Guess they’ll have to wait until next year.

I was able to secure a food processing license from Ag & Markets, so I will be working on some types of preserves for this season, along with possibly making some other goodies for the stand.

So now, aside from a little planning work that’s left, I just have to wait for it to warm up enough to get to work outside.  Hopefully that won’t be too far in the future.
