Just a quick update this week. The plan to have the special late opening on the October 28th is still on. For those who had not come by the stand recently, allow me to explain. Due to some crops taking longer to grow, and with the amount of them in the ground, I felt it would be worth it to have one last day open, for people to come and stock up for the winter. So, the plan for the special opening will be as follows:
Saturday 10/28 — 12 – 4
At this point, I should have Broccoli, Cabbage, Carrots, and Potatoes, along with a couple of other items.
Aside from that, Fall clean up and maintenance is well underway. I’ve also been doing some preliminary work in anticipation of getting chickens for next year, based on the positive feedback I received when querying people at the stand. It’s still not a definite, but so far I have not run into any snags. I’ll provide further updates on this as additional developments occur.
I would like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to all who came by and supported the farm this season. Without your support, this project would not be possible.
